I had struck the laksa off my list but Min, I was in the neighbourhood shopping for some T-shirts and I couldn't help myself. It was 2 in the afternoon, hot as hell, I took a peek, Laksa was still on and the rest is self-evident. This was truly divine, it might have been the immense heat, the incidentality, the alone-ness - highly recommended. All others might flock to the Teochew Chendol outside, but I advise a moment alone inside with a bowl of laksa - I guarantee you'd feel pretty smug after.

Iced Barley sitting pretty with my extra afternoon meal-snack

The cavity above me in the coffee-shop.

Nostalgia appeal completed with chinese hits of yesteryear on the airwaves, they pick their music well - this kopitiam.
